Project: Maheshwar Hydroelectric Power Project in M.P.

Details: Maheshwar Dam constructed across River Narmada in Madhya Pradesh is 3420 M. long and 36 M. in height. This dam will generate power of 400 MW and is the longest dam in Madhya Pradesh.

 

It has 27 Nos. radial gates of size 20.5 M. x 17.5 M. These were anchored to the pier by Freyssinet 19K15 and 12K15 tendons through the trunion girder.
